Orthomosaic Maps
What is an Orthomosaic map?
An orthomosaic map is a large, detailed image of the ground that’s made by combining lots of overlapping photos taken by a drone. The photos are stitched together and corrected so the map is flat, accurate, and everything is shown in the right scale—kind of like Google Maps, but much sharper and precise. It lets you clearly see land, buildings, or crops from above and even measure distances and areas correctly.
